The Challenge
The company needed to modernize the system that supported its soybean and wheat genetic improvement process. The application, originally developed in VBA 6.0, had become obsolete, making it difficult to introduce new functionality due to technological limitations and the limited availability of specialized resources. The challenge was to modernize the solution without disrupting a business-critical process.
The Solution
We modernized the system supporting the company's core genetic improvement process and developed a new platform based on .NET Framework 4.5. The solution was designed with a cloud architecture and integrated with the company's existing applications, enabling interoperability across its international operations while providing a scalable foundation for future growth.
